Final forging die chamber and blank making die chamber for forged flanges
Blank mold chamber for forging flange
For the forged flange with complex shape, in order to make the blank shape of the forged flange basically conform to the shape of the forged flange, so that the metal can be reasonably distributed and well filled in the die chamber, the blank must be made in the blank making die chamber in advance.
(1) Elongated die bore for forged flanges:
It is used to reduce the cross-sectional area of a part of the blank of the forged flange, so as to increase the length of the part. The drawing die bore of forged flange is divided into open type and closed type.
(2) Rolling die bore of forged flange:
It is used to reduce the cross-sectional area of one part of the blank of the forged flange, so as to increase the cross-sectional area of another part, so that the metal is distributed according to the shape of the forging. The rolling die bore of forged flange is divided into open type and closed type.
(3) Bending die bore of forged flange:
For rod die forgings with bent forged flanges, it is necessary to bend the blank by bending the die bore.
(4) Cutting die bore of forged flange:
It forms a pair of knife edges on the corners of the upper die and the lower die to cut off the metal of the forged flange.
