What are the details of the produced oil casing flange that need attention

(2) The internal and external surfaces of the oil casing shall be free of folds, hairlines, delaminations, cracks, rolling folds and scabs. These defects shall be completely removed and the removal depth shall not exceed 12.5% of the nominal wall thickness.
(3) The outer surface of the coupling shall be free of defects such as folding, hairline, delamination, crack, rolling folding, scarring and so on.
(4) The thread surface of oil casing and coupling shall be smooth without burr, tear and other defects sufficient to interrupt the thread and affect the strength and tight connection. What are the advantages of thickened oil casing flange
1. The strength of the connection is further strengthened through joint upsetting.
Under the condition that the thread shape is not changed, the size of the joint is increased by upsetting process, which continuously improves the strength of the connection and can meet the requirements of lower depth.
2. Through the cooperation with thread grease, the sealing of external thickened oil casing is completed. There is a gap of 0.076mm between the tooth top and tooth bottom. When tightening the thread, the tooth top gap is filled with thread grease, and the leakage channel is blocked after the thread grease is solidified, so the sealing effect is realized.
