Forging flange, as the name suggests, refers to the process of metal produced by forging objects through air hammer or pressure machine and other equipment in the red hot state. There are three types of forged flange sealing surface: plane sealing surface, suitable for the pressure is not high and non-toxic media; concave and convex sealing surface, suitable for slightly higher pressure; mortise and groove sealing surface, suitable for flammable, explosive, toxic media and high pressure occasions. Forged flanges are parts connecting the pipe to the end. The forged flanges have holes, and the bolts tighten the two flanges. Forging flange room is sealed with a backing pad. The flange connection consists of a pair of flanges, a gasket, and several bolt nuts. The gasket is placed between the two flange sealing surfaces. After tightening the nuts, the specific pressure on the gasket surface reaches a certain value, and fill the uneven part on the sealing surface, so that the connection is tight without leakage. A flange connection is a detachable connection. The connected parts can be divided into container flanges and pipe flanges. According to the structural type, there are integral flanges, live sleeve flanges and threaded flanges. Common integral flanges are flat welding and butt welding flanges. Flat welding and forging flange is suitable for pressure p 4MPa; or high neck flange, it is suitable for situations with high pressure temperature. Forging processing can ensure the continuity of metal fiber organization, so that the fiber organization of forging and forging shape is consistent, complete metal streamline, dense organization, good mechanical performance. Forging and processed objects with high hardness, strong and sharp wear resistance, good texture, good corrosion resistance, can ensure that the objects have good mechanical properties and long service life.
