What's special about austenitic stainless steel flange?

304 stainless steel flange commonly seen at ordinary times is generally austenitic stainless steel flange, and its standard composition is 18% chromium plus 8% nickel, which is generally called 18-8 stainless steel. The characteristics of this stainless steel flange are non-magnetic, unable to change the metallographic structure of its raw materials by heat treatment, and good workability. Due to the alloy element nickel, the corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steel flange is better than the other two types of stainless steel containing only chromium (without nickel).

300 series austenitic stainless steel flange is mainly used for vehicles, chemical equipment and pipe fittings, mechanical equipment and parts. In the eyes of ordinary people, the so-called stainless steel farad refers to the flange with 300 series stainless steel as raw material (especially 304 stainless steel flange).

The raw material of austenitic stainless steel flange is the raw material of stainless steel flange with the most steel types and the largest use among stainless steels (accounting for about 65 ~ 70% of the total output of stainless steel). The most commonly used austenitic stainless steel for flange production is the flange produced by Fe Cr Ni alloy (i.e. aisi300 Series in the United States); Flange produced by Fe Cr Ni Mn system (i.e. American aisi200 system); Special austenitic stainless steel and other three kinds of flanges.

The above is the raw material of austenitic stainless steel flange commonly used by Shanxi Haokun flanges Group Co., Ltd.
