Very detailed troubleshooting of slewing ring flange
1、 Inflexible slewing ring flange
Before leaving the factory, the slewing ring flange has undergone strict inspection and test run and is qualified. Therefore, if any retention phenomenon is found, it can be eliminated by the following methods.
(1) The idling of newly purchased flange products is not flexible. If the time is long (for example, more than half a year) and the weather is cold, the grease in the raceway may become sticky, resulting in poor operation (especially in cold areas and winter).
(2) Inflexible operation after installation. It may be that the mounting surface of the main machine and the mounting surface of the slewing ring flange are not well matched, resulting in that the axial clearance of the slewing ring flange cannot compensate for the deformation of the slewing ring after installation, the slewing ring is in a negative clearance state, and the rolling element is difficult to operate in the raceway (sometimes accompanied by abnormal noise); Or the big and small gears are poorly meshed; Or foreign matters are stuck in the large and small gears.
(3) Inflexible operation during flange use.
If the grease is insufficient, fill it as required; Damage to the sealing strip causes foreign matters to enter the raceway.
2、 Abnormal sound
It is normal that some slewing ring flanges that have just left the factory will make even steel ball rolling sound when idling. When the slewing ring flange operates after installation, another abnormal and large noise is called abnormal noise.
(1) The slight abnormal noise when the new product is idling will generally disappear after dozens of revolutions. If it does not disappear, it may be caused by the slight deformation of the slewing ring flange during transportation. However, if it operates flexibly and normally, it can be installed and used with confidence. It will disappear naturally after a period of use.
