What is flange tooling stiffness verification? It mainly refers to the bending and torsion of the stressed model of the cantilever beam with groove structure during the turning of the flange production process, and its deflection and rotation angle shall be verified. The flange has passed the above verification, and the deflection is 7.27 × Lo-7m and corner 8.969 × 10-5 are all deformations, and stiffeners are added at relevant parts. The rigidity is far beyond the calculated value, and the rigidity can meet the requirements of cutting force. After the tooling is combined with the flange, the rotation diameter is 2.42m<3.50m (the rotation diameter of double column vertical lathe), so the tooling can meet the requirements theoretically. In the process of flange turning, when machining large flanges, the bottom plate shall be adjusted downward and clamped on the vertical lathe workbench, and the flanges shall be manually installed. The large end flanges shall be fixed with bolts and supporting plates, and the flange processing surface shall be concentric and parallel with the vertical lathe workbench before cutting. When machining the small end flange, the bottom plate of the tooling shall be downward and clamped on the vertical lathe workbench. Six manual small jacks shall be used to tighten the back of the small end flange and the small support plate, and then the small end flange and the small support plate shall be fixed with bolts before the small flange can be cut. The perpendicularity of the large and small flanges shall be ensured when cutting and aligning the clamping. The large flange tooling has the advantages of simple and reasonable structure, convenient manufacturing, good rigidity, convenient alignment and adjustment during processing, and meets the needs of large elbow flange processing on the vertical lathe. All the three groups of elbow flanges processed are qualified. In the future, under the condition of no end face processing machine tool, a new way is opened up for processing similar parts with the vertical lathe.
