Stainless steel flange materials can also be classified according to production and processing methods, as follows:
1. Hot rolled (forged) steel of stainless steel flange includes hot rolled round steel, square steel, flat steel, steel plate, forged round steel and square steel.
2. Cold drawn (rolled) steel of stainless steel flange material includes steel wire, steel strip and cold drawn material (cold drawn round steel).
The materials of stainless steel flanges are classified according to the delivery status of steel
1. Hot rolled (forged) steel of stainless steel flange
A. The steel delivered in the hot-rolled (forged) state of stainless steel flange is hot formed into springs, and then quenched and tempered.
B. The steel delivered in the annealed state of stainless steel flange is cold formed into springs, and then quenched and tempered.
The above shall comply with the provisions of the delivery state hardness of the corresponding stainless steel flange material.
2. Cold drawn (rolled) steel made of stainless steel flange
A. Steel wire made of stainless steel flange
① Salt bath austempering cold drawn steel wire (also known as paidengtuo treated cold drawn steel wire) after the steel wire is made into a spring, it only needs to be tempered at low temperature to eliminate stress.
② After the oil quenched and tempered steel wire is cold drawn to the required size, continuous heating, continuous oil quenching and lead tempering are carried out. After the steel wire is made into a spring, it only needs to be heated at the bottom to eliminate the stress.
③ Cold drawn steel wire (i.e. steel wire without quenching and tempering treatment)
a. Delivery in cold drawn condition.
b. Delivered in annealed, normalized or tempered condition.
The steel wires delivered in the above two states need to be quenched and tempered after being made into springs.
