Capillary crack (hairline crack) of flange forging: it is located on the steel surface and is about 0.5-1.5mm deep.
Scab of flange forging: a thin film that is easy to peel off exists locally on the steel surface, with a thickness of about 1.5mm. It cannot be welded during forging and appears on the forging surface in the form of scar.
Folding (folding) of flange forging: the opposite direction of folding occurs at both ends of the diameter on the end face of rolled material. The folding seam is at an angle with the tangent of the arc. There are oxidation inclusions in the folding seam and decarburization around it.
Non metallic inclusions: elongated or broken non-metallic inclusions that are intermittently distributed along the longitudinal direction appear on the longitudinal section of the rolled material. The former is sulfide, and the latter is oxide and brittle silicate.
Composition segregation zone: on the longitudinal low magnification of some alloy structural steels, such as 40grnimoa, 38GrMoALA and other forgings, strip or strip defects different from the streamline appear along the streamline direction. The microhardness of the defect area is obviously different from that of the normal area.
