Flange manufacturer: what are the main flange welding methods
The stamping elbows of flange manufacturers can shorten the manufacturing cycle and greatly reduce the production cost. Precautions for welding stamped elbows of flange manufacturers:
1. In order to prevent the stamping elbows of flange manufacturers from eye to eye corrosion due to heating, the welding current should not be too large, which is about 20% less than that of carbon steel welding rods. The arc should not be too long, and the interlayer should be cooled quickly, and narrow weld beads are appropriate.
2. Flange manufacturers' stamping elbows have greater hardening after welding, which can easily produce cracks. If the stamped elbow of the same type of flange manufacturer is used for welding, it must be preheated above 300 ℃ and cooled slowly at about 700 ℃ after welding. If the weldment cannot be subject to post weld heat treatment. Stamping elbow welding rod shall be selected.
The flange has certain corrosion resistance (oxidizing acid, organic acid, cavitation), heat resistance and wear resistance. It is generally applicable to pipeline systems in oil, natural gas, chemical industry, hydropower, construction, boiler and other industries.
