Common faults and solutions of 2500LB A105 Agitator rollaway nest and supporting wheel (Ⅱ)

The concrete mixer truck is a special equipment for mixing and transporting concrete. The front end of the mixing drum is connected with the reducer. The rear cone of the mixing drum is welded with a raceway, which is supported by two supporting wheels in rolling contact with the raceway, and the raceway is in contact with the supporting wheel to form a "moving pair". Its structure is shown in Figure 1. Through the investigation of the use of concrete mixer truck, it is found that the frequency of "moving pair" fault between the mixing drum raceway and the supporting wheel is high, and there are three kinds of common faults: one is the cracking of raceway weld, the other is the abnormal sound of supporting wheel rotation, and the third is the surface scratch [1-3].

2 Abnormal sound of supporting Wheel rotation of 2500LB A105 Agitator rollaway nest
Usually, the supporting roller rotates evenly driven by the raceway. When an abnormality occurs, the supporting roller will produce abnormal noise. The reasons are as follows:
(1) If the mixing truck is not maintained normally, if the supporting wheel surface is not filled with sufficient grease, abnormal noise will occur when dry friction occurs with the raceway surface. In addition, when the supporting wheel is abnormal and does not rotate, the moving pair between the supporting wheel and the raceway will also produce abnormal sound when the rolling friction is changed to sliding friction.
(2) The supporting roller is located below the inlet and outlet of the mixing drum. Concrete, sand, stone and other sundries are easy to enter the bearing. The sundries rotate driven by the rolling body, resulting in damage and abnormal noise in the bearing.
Solution: dry friction between supporting roller and raceway shall be avoided. According to the requirements of the operation manual of the concrete mixer truck, grease the surface of the raceway and supporting wheel regularly to ensure effective lubrication of the surface, so as to achieve the best running in effect of the contact surface. Standardize the commissioning process during the assembly of the supporting wheel to prevent the inflexible rotation of the supporting wheel.
At the same time, prevent sundries from entering the bearing. During the design, a reasonable sealing structure shall be selected, and a sealing cover shall be installed to fix the sealing ring and rotating parts as far as possible. During the installation of supporting roller, try to avoid bringing pollutants into the bearing.
